Healing is possible
Making impactful, long-lasting change can be difficult. Draining mental health symptoms, substance use, and trauma can contribute to making positive lasting change feel like an impossible and daunting task. I understand the importance of wanting to find that immediate relief, as well as identifying and treating the root of the problem. An essential part of our work is exploring the past and making connections between the past and present. I assist clients in their journey of learning about themselves and the skills they need to live a more meaningful life.
I provide support through an eclectic approach, primarily utilizing mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapies, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). This allows me to meet clients where they are at in their healing process and help them get to where they want to be. I enjoy getting to know my clients as individuals, learning their stories, and understanding their unique strengths and abilities.
I am often described as curious, compassionate, and appreciative of the complexity of each person’s mind. I specialize in working with adults who are struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, substance use, low self-esteem, life transitions, and stress management.
I offer both in person counseling sessions and virtual sessions to best meet client needs. I offer counseling primarily to individuals in Milwaukee County and the surrounding areas. I can offer virtual counseling sessions to any individuals located in the state of Wisconsin.
